PLUMBING AND GAS PERMIT FEE INCREASE
EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 2004
The South Hadley Board of Health voted on December 9, 2003 to increase permit fees and to set the following fees for permits issued by this Department effective February 1, 2004.
Residential New Construction, Additions and Alterations
Plumbing Permits $50.00 Plus $5.00 per Fixture
Gas Permits $50.00 Plus $5.00 per Fixture
Commercial New Construction, Additions and Alterations
Plumbing Permits $70.00 Plus $5.00 per Fixture
Gas Permits $70.00 Plus $5.00 per Fixture
Plumbing and Gas repairs of a minor nature, requiring only one inspection both residential and commercial
Plumbing Permit $30.00 Plus $5.00 per Fixture
Gas Permit $30.00 Plus $5.00 per Fixture
Late Fees (Permits taken out after work completed) $25.00 per inspection
Note: Each holder of a Master or Journeyman’s Plumbing or Gas Fitters Certificate, or License, shall register his or her name and business address with the Inspector of Plumbing or otherwise with the Board of Health in the City or Town where they desire to engage in the business as a Plumber or Gas Fitter as required by the Commonwealth of MA.
