The Collector's Office currently has two staff members that are Notary Publics. This service is provided by the employees and is not a required duty under the current job descriptions. It is provided as a courtesy to the residents of the Town of South Hadley.
This service is provided free of charge.
We reserve the right to deny this service during office hours if the workload is heavy at the time of request or if a document requires a lengthy amount of time to perform the notary service. If this is the case a request can be made to have the service performed after working hours. A fee may then be charged at the discretion of the notary.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
