The South Hadley Senior Center coordinates over 200 dedicated volunteers. Approximately 1,500 hours of service are donated every month. The hours offered vary from 1 or 2 per week to over 20 hours per week. There are many opportunities and anyone interested in volunteering should contact the Activity/Volunteer Coordinator.
A Job Description Handbook is available and training and supervision are offered by staff. Every spring there is a Volunteer Appreciation event funded by the generous support of the Friends of South Hadley Elderly, Inc.
